Raising children successfully is a daunting task even when plenty of adults are involved, but to do the job as a single parent can be an enormous challenge.  Our hats are off to those who are doing it!  And we want to help them in whatever ways we can.

Twice a year we have a 13-week series for single moms called More than Conquerors. At each week's meeting, there are two lessons -- one on a practical aspect of life (budgeting, parenting, nutrition, helping children be ready for and/or succeed in school, wellness, etc.) and one on a journey of spiritual growth. The different groups from the church take a night to make it extra special for these ladies by decorating the room and providing refreshments served on nice tablecloths and dinnerware.   One of the highlights of being in More than Conquerors is the opportunity to form friendships with others who share the experience of being a single mom.  At the end of each cycle, a special luncheon is held to honor the ladies and celebrate their time together.

The Conquerors' children are included in the dynamic ministries for kids and teens that happen at FFCC on Wednesday evenings, so it's awesome for the whole family!
